Indonesia – Land of fire

Bali crap? NO!

My honest positive and only positive words about Bali. Transport was really okay, prices affordable, perfect beaches, landscapes cool, and volcanoes hot. I did all of this in not more than three days. That is what I think of Bali: do your thing and then leave asap before the annoyance start. And where did I go then? Well, I found a paradise only 1 hour by boat from Bali. Nusa Lembongan!

Nusa Lembongan – another paradise

For me this IS paradise. The only islands in the world that are in both biological zones: Oceania & Asia. Nobody seems to bother about that and thatโ€™s why it is so calm here. No cars, not packed, interesting wildlife, and outdoor activities.

The best is not to express my experiences through speech but through images. Remember that if you look at a photo it might have taken me a strenous hours of walk. Or mountain biking a bad ass mountain. Or cycling for hours around the island with a merciless sun. Getting charged by frightened cows when I searched for the best view points. Or that I even had to climb trees to get the best overview pictures. And I ran for my life when big waves came in suddenly on a lonely beach ๐Ÿ™‚

Lombok

The finish of my trip was excellent. Although heavy rain made it impossible to go to Rinjani Volcano; The Gili Islands made up for that. Days of snorkeling, enjoying landscapes and partying were my main duties ๐Ÿ™‚ Time also flew like crazy. Before I knew I was at the airport to take my flight to Perth.
