Hello! My name is Amar Nanda. After studying biology at the University of Leiden, I used my passion for the profession to various employers, including the Municipality of Rotterdam and the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture & Innovation. Currently I’m doing my PhD in environmental sciences at The University of Western Australia.
In my spare time I give excursions in Dutch nature reserves and help along with identification of plants and animals. Wildlife photography and documentary making are other passions which I have done during my travel journeys.
My latest project is the production of a documentary about the Swan Coastal Plain wetlands in Perth, Western Australia.
